Mary-Jo & Dave

I wanted to reach out to tell you how much Dave and I value our aide, Velita. When Kaitlyn left us, I never thought we would find someone to fill her shoes, but Velita has performed beyond my expectations. She is kind, diligent, and hard working. I think that Dave actually looks forward to seeing her (and getting a break from me!). When she comes in, his face lights up. I have no hesitation in going out for the day and leaving him in her care. Not only does she perform the usual duties, changing his bedding, getting him washed and dressed, making his meals, but she also tries to engage his brain by working with him on his speech therapy exercises. I honestly couldn't manage without her, and I just wanted to let you know. She is a treasure.
